사회활동의 관계

 

 

사회사업가라는 용어는 사회사업에 의한 학교의 학사나 석사학위를 가진 졸업생들로 이루어진 국립협회에 의해 정의 되었으며, 그들은 개인, 가족, 집단, 공동체, 조직, 혹은 일반적인 사회단체인 의뢰인을 위해 사회봉사를 제공하기위한 그들의 지식과 능력을 사용한다.

 

social workers help people increase their capacities for problem solving and coping and help them obtain needed resources, facilitate interactions between individuals and between people and their environments, make organizations responsible to people, and influence social policies.

 

사회사업가들은 사람들이 문제 해결 능력과 모방능력을 증가 시키도록 도우며 사람들이 필요로 하는 개인과 사람들과 그들의 환경 사이의 상호 관계를 용이하게 할 자원을 얻도록 돕우며 단체들이 사람들에게 책을 가지고 사회 정책에 영향을 끼치도록 만든다.

그들은 사회사업 계획 기관에서 일하는 도시 계획자들, 공중 보건소의 의사들, 감정적으로 혼란에 빠진 사람들을 위한 거주 치료시설에서 일하는 선생님들, 심리학자들, 간호사들 그리고 정신병원의 거주 치료사들과 정신건강 클리닉에서 일하는 정신병 의사들이다.
